Last month, I was delighted to take part in Incentive FM’s first ever Clay Pigeon Shoot, an event that I invited myself to after seeing it talked about on Twitter!
Joining i-FM’s crack team of shooters, aptly named Friendly Fire, we took on the other four teams on one of the hottest days of the year at the Home Clay Pigeon Club in Reigate, Surrey. The aim was to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust and we achieved in excess of £10,000.
While Friendly Fire put up a valiant effort, we were beaten by Incentive FM’s own team of experienced sharpshooters.
It was a great day of fun, shooting, fund-raising, and networking with some great FM people; which came about for me after seeing a tweet about it, and asking if I could come along. So if you want something don’t be afraid to ask; and if you’d like us to ask for you then get in touch.
